Aljube Museum – April 17 to May 30

Coinciding with the announcement of the FREEDOM RACE celebrated every April, Manuel Brito presents at the Aljube Museum a collection of documentary photography about the MFA’s Dynamization Campaigns, in the countryside north of the country, during the revolutionary period.

It was from the Aljube Museum that this year the associations promoting the Freedom Race wanted to mark the starting point for a race that will fill Lisbon with color and enthusiasm on 25 April.

As patron, this year was chosen the April military Vitor Alves. As always, the Freedom Race has the support of the Lisbon City Council and the City Hall of Odivelas.

There was a challenge to the organizers: the next race, in 2020, could count with a popular march leaving the Aljube Museum.
