Books in the Aljube – “Student Activism at IST (1945-1980)”
With the presence of the editor, António Mota Redol (one of the interviewees for the book) and the organizer, Professor Luísa Tiago Oliveira, João Esteves presented us a documentary book of great interest for the knowledge of the academic life of one of the most active schools in the fight against the dictatorship – the Instituto Superior Técnico.
“Student Activism at IST (1945-1980)”, presented at the Aljube Museum Resistance and Freedom, is a book that combines memory and history in a very useful way to understand the dictatorial period and also the transition period that followed.
