Cinema at the Aljube Museum – Susana Sousa Dias

29 of January to 19 of February of 2020
Auditório do Museu do Aljube
Susana Sousa Dias

In this cycle we present 3 films that address the dictatorship and torture of political prisoners. The presentation of the films will be followed by a conversation with the “protagonists” and other actors who have experienced similar situations.

On January 29th we begin the Cycle with the film “Natureza Morta”. A film in which the entire Portugal of the Dictatorship is shown in images, highlighting an unexpectedly unknown documentary collection about Portuguese fascism.

An invitation to see the film and speak with the producer, Ansgar Schaefer and Susana Sousa Dias, the director.

On February 5th, we continue the cycle with the film “48”. We count on with the presence of the director and two of the “protagonists”, Domingos Abrantes and Conceição Matos.
