Cinema in the Aljube -«48»
First one, then another, and another, and another … in ’48 ‘the photographs of political prisoners follow. Without narration, the only voices we hear are those of prisoners, who remember those days in prison. We heard the voices and heard the silences, the pauses, the memories, the choked voice, the tears.
In the room, three of the protagonists whose photographs and memories pass in ’48’: Conceição Matos, Domingos Abrantes and Adelino Pereira da Silva reminded to the youngest the importance of defending the conquered freedom.
