Bernardo Santareno – Portuguese, Writer, Resistant. 100 years
On June 18, the Aljube Museum Resistance and Freedom, within the scope of the cycle Intellectuals and Artists of Resistance, joins the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of Bernardo Santareno, with a Biobibliographical exhibition, which can be seen, at 4th floor of the Aljube Museum until September 20, or online, on the Museum’s Facebook.
The exhibition brings together some of the most important moments in the life and work of one of the greatest Portuguese playwrights in constant challenge to the Estado Novo, censorship, morality and order installed.
