António Catarino Rebelo

António Catarino Rebelo was born in Elvas. He was a sawyer. On May 28, 1939, he entered the 1st Police Station, coming from Portalegre. In the next day, he will have to be transferred to Caxias Fortress, where he remains for five months, until he is sent to the Aljube Prison. On November 13, 1939, he returned to Caxias, to enter the Aljube again, this time at the infirmary, on November 30. Arrives at Hospital de S. José on December 18th. He dies at Curry Cabral Hospital, on January 22, 1940. We don’t know how old he was.
