Colloquium – Jaime Cortesão Citizen, Patriot, Member of the Resistance

26 October 2019

A Colloquium attended at the Aljube Museum

Jaime Cortesão, citizen, patriot, member of the resistance, was the motto for a rich transfer of knowledge and reflection on a fulfilled life, such as that of the historian, the poet, the playwright – but especially that of the man committed to the politics of the world.

One day, very late in his life, in an interview with Igrejas Caeiro, he would say something that today, before the disarray of the world, we repeat with some conviction: man has not accompanied with the necessary moral progress the amazing technological advance that has improved (and inferred) life.

The Temporary Exhibition will be in the temporary exhibition space of the Museum until April 2020.
