Lisbon from the Aljube – Houses of Underground
An itinerary through marks of the underground life of thousands of women and men who have been placed the dilemma of silence / accept or fight / resist the dictatorship of Salazar and the «salazaristas». Today they are normal houses – inhabited by the vast majority -, as “normal” as they were in the time when they served as workshops of documents, printers or meeting places.
In Linda-a-Velha, Algés, Paço d’Arcos, Monte Estoril, Galizia remain these six houses that were visited with the guidance of Vanessa Almeida and the precious testimony of Adelino Silva.
So that the memory does not fade.
