Virgínia Moura, imprisoned sixteen times by PIDE, between 1949 and 1962, was in Caxias, in prisons in Porto and at PIDE’s headquarters; nine times prosecuted, three convictions in the Plenary Courts; and repeatedly beaten by the police in public acts.
On October 4, 1951, Lobão Vital is arrested and admitted to the Aljube infirmary, he would be arrested and tortured several times later.
