José Duarte

José Duarte was born in S. Martinho da Cortiça, Arganil. He lived in Lisbon, where he worked as a shoemaker.
He was arrested in 1934 and was admitted to the Aljube on 4 December. Reason? Bomber.
Transferred to Peniche on the 19th, he will return to Aljube in March 1935, before being sent to Angra do Heroísmo, sentenced to 10 years of exile and fine.
In 1938, on March 9, he was admitted to the Military Hospital of Angra do Heroísmo. It is there that she dies, on March 11. He was 60 years old.
